I am pleased to announce that my image " Matrix Motion" has been awarded as Award Winner in the Film Capture category at the Epson International Pano Awards 2024. This shot, taken in the canton of Aargau , Switzerland, highlights the aesthetics of analog photography.
The image was created in panoramic format on Provia100F slide film and captures the calm and movement of nature. The fusion of gentle movements of the grass and the static calm of the trees creates a unique atmosphere. Thanks to the recording technique, the image appears particularly lively, with deep colors and a distinctive structure that underlines the subtleties of the scene. This picture also summarizes much of what I have developed photographically in recent years and represents a high point for me in my forest photography. I had known for some time how such an image should look, but it was only on this morning that everything fell into place - the location, the experience, the creativity. This award is a valuable confirmation of the importance of analogue photography, which still works its own magic in today's digital world. For me, Matrix Motion is a special work that shows how much emotion and depth can be conveyed through traditional photography.
