A new panorama picture "KAHIKATEA" hung up at Gautschi Editions for drying and rechecking shortly after printing. The Fine Art paper "Canson Baryta Photographique II Matt" was used. This paper was chosen after test prints on different fine art papers. The selected paper offers an absolutely matt yet smooth surface and can reproduce the finest details and drawings with simultaneous softness and supports the analogue characteristics of this photograph. This was particularly evident in this image.
Next, the picture is laminated onto aluminium and then framed by hand at Arnold Rahmenmanufaktur in Aarau and fitted with a premium glass (without light reflection). The matching colour for the glaze of the frame is still being selected.
The final picture will have the following dimensions: 196 x 69 cm (with 15mm white border and frame profile). The picture is available in a limited edition of 5.
