From the photograph to the art image
Many times and in different seasons and weather situations I stood in this forest. The idea of realising this with the analogue panorama camera often came to me. The conditions to put my inspiration into action were missing until now. Except for one morning about a week ago. After three rainy days, a clear and cool night followed. Just in time and at the ideal moment of the fresh green beech forest, the fog descended in the early morning. This time I set up the camera and exposed the film.
The pictures below show the process of this panoramic image. From the exposure to the developed film slide on the light desk and as a large-format art picture in the living room.
